In September 1997, Donald Coffey founded his company. He purchased two septic tank emptying lorries from two competitor companies. In doing so, he became the only company working in this field in the Huntingdon area. One of the two companies was called Sani-Vrac and Mr. Coffey decided to keep the name and add his own name to this. So, Sani-Vrac Donald Coffey was born.
After two years in business, Mr. Coffey built his own sludge tank. As a farmer and owner of farmland, his strategy was use this as fertilizer on his fields.
In 2000, with the growth of his company, Mr. Coffey added a new service for his clients. He offers them the opportunity to rent portable toilets, with two types available. Over the years, he acquired more models to respond to the increasing demand for this service. Today, Sani-Vrac has 39 standard toilet blocks and one for disabled people.
Many of these toilets have sinks. He has also purchased several sink units for local events such as fairs.
As an experienced manager, Mr. Coffey is keen to ensure the continuation of his business. His son, Andrew, is the administrator for the portable toilets section. Both father and son have invested in the life of their community. The company employs full-time regional drivers, as well as a part-time lorry driver.
Sani-Vrac Donald Coffey is a company that continues to grow and now serves a large part of Montérégie.
